REGIONAL MEETING FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN "POLICY AND HERITAGE"

The Regional Secretariat for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) and the illustrious municipality of Valparaiso indicate that they have organized a meeting entitled “Regional meeting for Latin-American and Caribbean Cities – Policy and Heritage”.
 
The meeting will take place in the city of Valparaiso on October 28, 29 and 30 2010, within the scope of the 3rd Universal Forum of Cultures.
 
The organization of the meeting is made up of the following commissions: organizer, academic, financial, and public relations, as well as the General Secretariat.
 
The meeting will include professors’ lectures and panels in which invited speakers, both Chilean and international, will take part.
 
The participants in the meeting are all the people that are part of the following categories: 
 
a)      Active members of the OWHC
b)      ICOMOS Chili and special guests
c)      The World Heritage Cities that expressed the wish to register in this meeting
d)      Specialists in heritage issues
