Oaxaca de Juárez (Mexico), November 22, 2013 – During the XII World Congress of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC), while the member cities of the organization were in a General Assembly, mayors and official representatives voted to elect the future host city of the XIII World Congress of the OWHC.

The OWHC and its entire network would like to congratulate the city of Arequipa, Peru, winner of this democratic exercise!
