“Modern Life in an Old City” – the 2014 photo competition of OWHC in the Northwest-European region reached half time with 8^th of October. Many member cities in good standing jumped on the train and participate in our activity.

On the special website www.ovpm.org/en/Modern_Life_in_an_Old_City the upload function offers an easy way to join the competition. You can have a look at the first share of pictures handed in and are welcome to make up your mind which ones you would count as number one of each city. The jury of each participating member city will be asked to choose a winning photo after November 8^th – and then award it with a prize of 350 Euros!

In the second competition level, the Regional Secretariat will put up an international jury to select out of each city winner the overall winning photo and award it with a prize of 700 Euros.
Thanks to everybody participating: our member cities as well as people sharing their photographs about modern aspects of heritage. And remember: one more month to go until deadline!
