From the 28^th of April to the 1^st of May 2015, will be held in Menorca, Balearic Islands, the 2^nd International Conference on Best Practices in World Heritage: “People and Communities”.  

The organisers of The Universidad Complutense of Madrid, together with the Consell Insular of Menorca, propose to create a meeting point on the management of tangible and intangible properties inscribed as World Heritage from the point of view of those who participate and coexist with them.

To this end, sessions about the following topics will be organized: cooperation; stakeholders; perception and interpretation; conflict resolution and social implication; wealth increaser; transversal actions.

We are happy to announce you that Mr. Basilio Horta, Mayor of Sintra and President of the OWHC, will be part of the Honor Committee of the Conference.
