SUPPORT OF THE UNESCO CHAIR IN BAEZA

The Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) supports the implementation of the Unesco Chair at the site «Antonio Machado» of the International University of Andalusia in Baeza, Spain. This agreement was adopted during the third meeting of the Board of Directors of the OWHC which was held from May 27 to 29, 2015 in Angra do Heroismo, Azores, Portugal.

The main objectives of this Unesco Chair to be achieved will be: discussing, investigating and exchanging experiences on different aspects related to the Heritage Cities such as conservation, management, promotion, development, interpretation, evaluation or defense; as well as the organization of courses, seminars and other educational and cultural activities that contribute to achieving these goals.
