My dear friends of the OWHC!

Coming from Valparaiso (Chile), we would like to express our thanks to our friends and colleges of the OWHC for all the phone calls in relation to the earthquake of magnitude 8 on the Richter scale that has strike our country. We would like to let you know that in the city of Valparaiso, we do not have lost any human life or suffer any great damages. This is because we are located in the region V, while the epicenter is located in the region IV of Coquimbo, in the city of Illapel, that suffered the worst hit. Here in Valparaiso, everything is going back to normal and we are going back to our work position.
