The OWHC is back to work, following the XIII World Congress which took place in Arequipa (Peru) from November 3 to 6. We wish to thank the host city for its warm welcome and we thank all the volunteers without whom we couldn’t have carried out the 2015 edition of the World Congress! Thank you! 

During this World Congress, while the member cities of the organization were in a General Assembly, mayors and official representatives voted in order to elect the Host city of the XIV World Congress of the OWHC. 

The OWHC and its entire network would like to congratulate the city of Gyeongju in Republic of Korea, winner of this democratic exercise! The OWHC will therefore celebrate in 2017 its first World Congress in the Asia-Pacific region. 

During the Arequipa Congress, the new OWHC’s Board of Directors was also elected. Congratulations to all the elected cities, and to the new President of the OWHC.
