Gyeongju vice Mayor, Mr. Sangwook Lee, and his delegation from Korea were visiting Regensburg on Friday 25th November. The hosting city of the next OWHC World Congress officially invited Regensburg’s Lord Mayor, Mr. Joachim Wolbergs, to come to Gyeongju in 2017 to participate in the international World Heritage conference.

The delegation was welcomed in the historical city hall and the invitation letter with a precious Korean flute replica were presented to Mayor Wolbergs. After that, the guests from Korea were shown around in the World Heritage Visitor Center of Regensburg as well as the historical old town district.
