As the year 2023 draws to a close, the General Secretariat wishes first of all to express a message of solidarity to all members of the Organization faced with war, the consequences of extreme climatic events, various disasters or any other difficulties that may affect their citizens and their heritage.

This has been a very busy year for the OWHC, with the significant development of the Quebec Roadmap. More and more member cities are actively contributing, through their activities, to forging a stronger, more operational identity for our Organization.

We still have 10 months to explore and invent together, before acknowledging our progress at our 17th World Congress, to be held in Cordoba (Spain) from September 24 to 27, 2024.

This prospect still offers us many opportunities to strengthen our network and the international role of the OWHC.
