2014 was a busy year for our Regional Secretariat: four new member cities have joined our group of World Heritage Cities and are activeliy supporting our work for the benefit of the Organization of World Heritage Cities. A successful regional conference was held in Quedlinburg in November, preparing our members for the important topic of the next World Congress in Arequipa: “Resilience”. With our second Photo Competition, we were able to generate attention for a modern view on heritage in our cities.
