Launching of the International Video Production Competition – 2017 Edition

The Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) is proud to announce you the launching of the 2017 edition of the International Video Production Competition “My city, our World Heritage”.

This competition encourages young people between 14 and 17 years old and between 18 and 21 years old to produce a video of a maximum duration of 5 minutes expressing their vision of the World Heritage city in which they live and to broadcast it around the world thanks to YouTube.

The winners will be announced during the 14th World Congress of the OWHC that will be held in Gyeongju (Republic of Korea) from October 31 to November 3, 2017. The winning videos will also be presented and the mayors of the winning cities will then be honoured.

 

NEW THIS YEAR!

The amounts of the prizes have been increased! The prizewinner of the 14-17 years old category will be awarded the sum of $1000 US and the prizewinner of the 18-21 years old category will be awarded the sum of $2000 US.

In addition, the OWHC will give great visibility to the participating cities by broadcasting on its website the videos of their finalists.

The terms and conditions of the competition are available ON THE WEBPAGE OF THE PROGRAM and the registration of your city must be completed by June 16, 2017.
