Training Course on “Heritage Interpretation” in Warsaw

Warsaw, Poland

The Regional Secretariat for Northwest Europe and North America together with the hosting city of Warsaw just held a very instructive and successful training on the topic of “Heritage Interpretation”. 12 participants from 10 different OWHC cities were offered a highly instructive and creative program in a very inspiring venue: the Muzeum Warzawy and the Heritage Interpretation Centre were perfect venues!

The trainers from the Malopolska Institute of Culture in Krakow did a great job in engaging the participants in order to rethink their own heritage sites and develop competencies in interpretation of their specific values.

Thanks to the hosting city Warsaw, all guests also learned about the incredible heritage of the city: the special reconstruction of Old Town after World War II and its World Heritage status since 1980 have been present all the time and integral part of the training. But above all, Warsaw was presenting itself as incredibly welcoming – Thank you Warsaw!
