New digital platform offers creative ways of encountering UNESCO World Heritage sites

It is a set date: the first Sunday in June is World Heritage Day in Germany! For the first time, this special day will be celebrated on a virtual platform. Under the special circumstances of COVID-19 restrictions, the German Commission for UNESCO created within short time a completely new website under www.unesco-welterbetag.de

It offers a great selection of videos, interactive material, exploration and experimentation for young and old for a virtual tour through German UNESCO sites. Also all our German OWHC member cities are to be found – have a look and have a great World Heritage Day on June 7th!
