Summary: The Southern Europe/Mediterranean Regional Secretariat of the OWHC is committed to sharing information and knowledge among its member cities to foster improved management of resources and enlarge the scope of its objectives. The creation of Working Parties has enabled experiences to be pooled in a range of Heritage domains and draw up documents that summarise and exemplify the efforts undertaken. Joining the previously published “Heritage and Archaeology” and “Restoration of Heritage”, the present publication, “Accessibility and Heritage”, draws together initiatives and projects that have been implemented on the basis of an unwavering respect for the assets of heritage and their protection, and incorporates a new perspective: Accessibility.
