From September 24 to 27, 2024, the city of Cordoba, Spain, hosted the 17th OWHC World Congress, bringing together member cities delegations from around the world. The event strengthened ties between them and made progress towards a more sustainable future for world heritage.

The OWHC is currently compiling the results of the 17th World Congress so that Congress and Symposium reports will be available to members very soon. A satisfaction survey will also be sent to you shortly.

These reports will detail the fruitful exchanges, the decisions made, and the initiatives that will allow us to continue advancing towards the Cordoba Path and the Québec Roadmap. Our Symposium took a significant operational step forward, and the election of a strong and united Board of Directors will provide the necessary support over the next two years to ensure the successful development of the New Urban Project that the organization is aiming to establish. The venue is set for the 18th World Congress which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco.
