The Congress saw the re-election of the President of the OWHC, Bruno Marchand, Mayor of Quebec City, for a 2^nd term, and the election of the new Board of Directors during the General Assembly, thus ensuring the continuity of the OWHC’s operational and political development. This process demonstrated the commitment of representatives of World Heritage cities to strengthening international cooperation and moving towards the New Urban Project.
