THE PROGRAM

The City2City program (or “C2C”) encourages cooperation between member cities of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC). It capitalizes on local expertise by proposing the organization of short-term expert missions for OWHC cities, by OWHC cities. These missions can take a variety of forms depending on the needs, such as training courses, bilateral meetings, study days, etc. Their aim is to meet the particular needs of cities on a specific subject or issue.

Member cities in good standing can participate in this program, either by providing experts (responding cities), or by requesting the program (requesting cities) to seek joint solutions to the difficulties they face in managing heritage sites or urban planning.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

Any city that is a member in good standing of the OWHC and wishes to benefit from a punctual expert mission is eligible.
