Description
There are a total of 104 registered fountains in Safranbolu. 90 of them are the property of Safranbolu Municipality. 14 of them are privately owned fountains. Restorations began in 2013. Fountains were restored within the projects approved by the Cultural Heritage Protection Board in 2014. The restorations were made loyal to the original. For a total of about $ 185,000 has been spent on the restoration of 23 fountains. Until 2019, we aim to complete the restoration of all remaining fountains.
